Dear Sharon and Mims,

We are now back in sunny California reflecting on the wonderful memories of our trip to Florence. The highlight of the trip was the Garga cooking school. The whole experience went way beyond my expectations. The hands on approach, being able to be in your kitchen all by ourselves, the way you both graciously taught us lacing your examples with stories and experience, the fully dressed table to feast on and your willingness for our husbands/friends to enjoy your hospitality too. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. We have decided that we will all get back together in a month or so to re-create the Garga meal. We can't wait!!! Pat and I wanted to share just a piece of the experience with our families here via the nice book that you gave us.

I have been thinking about your trip to the states soon. You will be a huge hit in Chicago and Louisiana - I am sure of it. I hope you can enjoy yourselves too. If we come back to Florence, we will surely visit you again.
